Black History Month

In February at The Grove, we proudly celebrated Black History Month with a special program honoring the rich history, culture, and contributions of African Americans.

Our school orchestra, the F.L. Schlagle Band and Dance Team, and the talented students of The Grove delivered outstanding performances. Students also participated in a live Black History Month Museum and sang a special tribute song in celebration of the occasion.

We concluded the celebration with a meaningful awards presentation, recognizing Principal John Williams as the first African American principal of The Grove. It was a powerful and inspiring way to honor history while celebrating progress within our own school community.
