COVID 19 and Maintaining a Healthy School Environment:

If a student/staff has symptoms and tests negative, they will now have to be out for 48 hours without symptoms instead of the previous 72 hours.

List of symptoms and exclusion criteria are:

Temperature of 99 or greater, cough, shortness of breath, fatigue, sore throat, headache, runny or stuffy nose, body aches, diarrhea, vomiting or nausea, chills/shaking, new loss of taste or smell. 

KCKPS District Covid-19 Plan

The Board of Education approved the administration’s proposed Health and Safety reentry plan for the 2021-22 school year. The plan laid out safety precautions and expectations for students, staff, and visitors to ensure that school campuses are prepared to receive everyone back in the classroom.
